In Fanano, the living nativity scene is staged every two years along the streets of the country illuminated only by torches.

The event always arouses great interest and is very suggestive.

In the setting, among the many ancient trades, there are about 300 figures all in traditional clothes, the stonemason, the weaver, the cheesemaker. But also classic icons of the nativity scene such as the Roman legion, shepherds with animals and of course the Holy Family.
