Festival that takes place in Sestola on 6 December to honor the patron saint.
Traditional procession along the streets of the town whose peculiarity consists in the position of the statue of the Patron which is carried by the villagers: if the first snow has already fallen, an indication of good omen for the winter season, the statue will be in an upright position on the contrary , if the snow has not yet fallen, it will be brought upside down.
Homemade cakes are offered to those present by all the villagers, hence the popular proverb of good omen: "San Niculò, turta buna e nèva in cò" ("For San Nicolò, good cake and snow on the head").
