The last weekend of October Montecreto dresses up in the traditional chestnut festival, the fruit par excellence of our mountains, with food stands in the streets of the town. An initiative that has been repeated for over a quarter of a century and that each year awards the Castagna d'Oro award to a famous figure in the national gastronomy.
