Feast dedicated to the Madonna of the snow, takes place on Mount Cimone on August 5 at the local church inside which there is a small statue of the Madonna, the liturgical ceremony is always presided over by the Bishop of Modena.
The building was conceived as a small place of worship at the end of the 19th century by the "Roman Committee" to fulfill the wish of Pope Leo XIII to consecrate 19 mountains to Christ, including our Cimone. Every year many visitors reach the summit of the mountain with a traditional walk.
